What is the best workout for you?

With all the different types of workouts out there, who is to say which one is best? It is overwhelming enough that we have many decisions to make throughout our day that we sometimes unfortunately forget to include physical activity altogether! So what is one to do? There are many different kinds of workouts such as yoga, strength training, cardio, but which one is best?

The answer lies in what your lifestyle is and what you need as an individual. Whether you have lots of time or no time, or are super motivated or need a little push to get you going.

If you don't have a lot of time, then your best bet is to have short yet more intense workouts, for example you can try out high intensity interval training or strength training and you can do these both at home! You should try to workout every day for about 20 to 30 minutes when you have time. If you pair this with your Trim and Tone belt a few days out of the week you got it in the bag!

If you have trouble getting motivated to workout it is best to find a physical activity you enjoy doing. For instance dancing is a very fun activity that you can do anywhere and gets you moving! Jump rope is also an excellent and fun way of getting your heart pumping. Yoga is also an excellent way to get your physical activity in if you don't seem to enjoy breaking a sweat at the gym, it can be very relaxing compared to other workouts and really works out your core! If you need even more motivation, try asking a buddy to keep you accountable, better yet workout together. If that is not an option, try hiring a trainer where your wallet will help remind you of your goals!

Bottom line, it is important that you get your body moving daily. Physical activity is extremely important for your overall health and your body and mind will thank you when you do invest in some time for a workout routine! If you are unsure of what you should do, it is a good idea to ask your doctor or a professional trainer what is best for your fitness goals.
